This service operated by the Champlain and St. Lawrence Railway to Rouse's Point, steamboat on Lake Champlain, stage between Whitehall and Troy, and steamboat on the Hudson river to New York. The letter was put in the U.S. Despatch Post and rated 2 cents for local delivery
