U.S. 1853, 3¢ red entire (U3), used to Canada from Urbana, N.Y. to Toronto, originally postmarked Aug. 25 (magenta c.d.s.) and held, 3¢ pen canceled with ms. "7" at left and clear "Paid" handstamp indicating balance paid in cash, postmarked again on the 26th, red "Ud. States/ Paid/ 6d" exchange postmark, Toronto U.C. 1853 receiving postmark, Nesbitt seal on flap; some edge wear, Fine and very rare usage, early dated use of this Nesbitt entire.
