1882, 5¢ yellow brown (205), horizontal pair, natural s.e. at R., tied by open grids, on double rate cover from U.S. Consulate at Hankow, China to Kansas City, Mo., light strike of "U.S. Postal Agency Shanghai. 22 Apr. 87" double oval in purple, San Francisco entry pmk. on reverse, neat docketing in Chinese at right edge, very minor toning from gum on flaps, otherwise Very Fine, very scarce usage.
