1882, 5¢ yellow brown (205), two singles on separate covers to Japan, first from Boston to Yokohama, then forwarded to Shanghai with Walsh, Hall & Co. forwarder's oval, readdressed back to Yokohama and postmarked with Imperial Japanese Postal Agency c.d.s., then forwarded finally to Tokyo, in addition there are Japan postmarks in both English and Japanese; 2nd cover with stamp tied by purple Maltese Cross cancel of Burr Oak, Iowa (1886) and addressed to Nagasaki, flap with Yokohama & Nagasaki postmarks, covers with minor edge wear, Very Fine usages.
