1911, 2¢ carmine, U.S. Automatic Vending type II perfs (384), tied on cover to Milford, N.H. by neat Brockton, Mass. flag cancel, Oct 28, 1912, backstamped Milford; small tear at right end of cover. Otherwise Very Fine.

The sideways coils were produced for a small low-priced vending machine developed for use on store counters. They saw little use and covers with correctly used type II coils are rare.
