Canada 1859, 17¢ blue (19), nicely centered single with deep color tied on mourning cover addressed to Scotland by light black cancel and by fair strike of "GLASGOW PACKET/COL. PAID/NO 14 1862", "Brockville U.C./OC 27 62" c.d.s. at bottom left, numerous backstamps with Montreal OC 29, Inverary NO 15, Greenock NO 17, and Rothsay (arrival) NO 18. Very Fine example of single 17¢ Cunard rate to Great Britain, this cover having sailed on the "Australian" leaving New York Nov. 5 and arriving Queenstown Nov. 15.
