Switzerland 1922 Gordon Bennet Cup, picture post card (with black & white view illustration) franked with Switzerland 10c Sitting Helvetia and with special Gordon Bennet adhesive label at left, each cancelled by Geneva 6 VIII 1922 c.d.s. (last day of the flight). The card is addressed to Capt. H.E. Honeywell of the Swiss Aero Club and marked "Balloon Post U.S. Balloon Uncle Sam" and was (supposedly) flown on the balloon;. Very Fine. Extremely rare.
