France 1849, 1fr light carmine, strip of three with left stamp tête-bêche (9a), cancelled by "grille sans fin" and partial rate marking "8", large to cut into (especially at left) margins, slight thinning, a nice spacefiller for this very rare tête-bêche. Maury T6.
