Great Britain 1841, 1d red brown (3 var.), plate 143, NA, large margins on three sides, touched at right, tied by "970" barred obliterator in blue on 1853 (Jan.) envelope to Southmolton, North Devon, matching "Lynmouth" circular undated origin handstamp, backstamped Minehead, Taunton, and South Molton, the "970" canceller applied in error since it was allocated to Washford, Somerset; Fine appearing example of this anomaly.
