Russian Offices in the Turkish Empire 1865 Ropit (2pi) pale blue and rose (5a), singles (2), large to ample margins, tied by light "700" in rhomboid of dots in blue on 1868 (Mar. 9) letter sheet from Smyrna to Taganrog matching "Smirna" c.d.s. (Tchlinghirian Fig. 772) on reverse, being the only such recorded example on cover to date; Very Fine and an exceptional cover.
