Eagle and Shield (Walcott 2487), on small envelope to New Winchester, Ind. with 1¢ blue (63) horiz. strip of three cancelled by pen stroke, right stamp virtually uncancelled, manuscript "Ashley Mills Aug. 25" postmark at bottom, stamps with rich color; few small perf flaws at top, cover with faintest trace of water stain at extreme bottom edge, Fine and rare.
