Substantial postal history balance of the A.R.T. specialized Washington-Franklin collection, mostly mounted on exhibit pages with several on stockpages or loose, some better covers include 517 and 518 on a registered tag, 435 used from the U.S. Postal Agency in Shanghai to Hawaii Terr., 503 and 508 used from the U.S. Postal Agency in Shanghai to the U.S., 541 block of four paying the special delivery fee and local postage within Wash., D.C., five copies of 498 used to Russia marked "service suspended" and a suspension label added in N.Y.C., several tags showing the WWI parcel post tax paid by documentary stamps, various usages from abroad or U.S. Territories including Cuba, Hawaii, Porto Rico, Somoa, Vera Cruz, and several paquebot usages, wide variety of rates, routes, and destinations, wonderful basis for an award winning exhibit.
