6¢-24¢ airpost 1918 first flight covers, group of five covers including #C1 (Wash., D.C. - addressed to Ward, with AFDCS certificate), C2 (N.Y.- much traveled/forwarded Aerial league with enclosure), C2 (Wash., D.C.), C3 (Phila. with Dept. of Commerce enclosed personal letter), and C3 (Wash., D.C.- shifted forward plane). All with flaws including the first strongly oxidized, an affordable lot of classic airmail covers.
