Worldwide 1939 New York World's Fair, outstanding collection, mostly mounted and written up for exhibition. The bulk is U.S. covers, of which there are more than 300 including over 100 different cacheted First Day Covers of Scott #853, as well as Fair Event covers, Fair cancels, Naval Ship cancels, etc. Included among the Foreign material is Mexico's "Sarabia" airmail mint and with specimen overprint (both NH) plus on flown cover; Cape Verde inverted overprint (only 25 issued) plus Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Port. Guinea & India, each on a separate flown airmail cover; France #372 trial color die proof, and Cameroun #223-224 presentation proofs. There's also a little collateral and a few picture postcards. A marvelous collection, undoubtedly one of the finest in existence.
