Canal Zone 1912-16, 2c vermilion & black, machine made booklet panes of six (39cS [2]), uncut horizontal pairs of panes with right sheet margin, two different printings, each with a slightly different style "SPECIMEN" overprint, all stamps with control punch; o.g., never hinged, first printing with light creases in selvage and minor separations, otherwise both F-VF. Only 48 and 36 panes, respectively, were in the archives.
