Canal Zone 1904, 10c yellow (3), tied by one of two strikes "Canal Zone * Ancon * Jul 8 1904" c.d.s. on an all-over (front and back) "billboard" advertising cover to Germany (48 ads in all), Cristobal c.d.s. of the same date alongside, a choice Extremely Fine example of this exceedingly rare cover, even the stamp is perfectly placed in the printed space provided. Only about a half dozen first issue advertising covers are recorded.
