Canal Zone 1904, 8¢ violet black and 10¢ red brown (7-8), tied by bold 7-bar cancels on a pair of covers to Gorgona, each with "Canal Zone * Empire * Dec 7 P.M. 1904" c.d.s. and magenta Gorgona receiver Dec 8; minor flaws on reverse, otherwise Very Fine, purely philatelic but exceedingly rare, nonetheless.
