Navy Dept., 1873, 30¢ ultramarine (O44), cancelled by a socked on nose strike of a small barred ellipse with N.Y.P.O. in the center, large jumbo margins on three sides. Couple minor faults. Very Fine appearance. the only recorded strike of this unusual New York marking.
