Irvin, Commisionary Gen. of Purchases in Phil., Pa., red manuscript "25" rating crossed out and "free" added, docketing reads, "Lt. Alex Mitchell relative to the supplies placed in charge for sale to the volunteers and Indians in the service of the U.S. in Floridas." Very Fine with interesting docketing of the Second Seminole War.
