New Britain, 1914 (16 Dec.)-15 1d on 3pf brown, variety straight top serif to "1" (SG 16, 16c), with a normal, tied by "Stephansort/13" c.d.s. in blue on envelope to Rabaul, "Kaiserl. Deutsche Postagentur" paper seal in blue on reverse, some light age spotting. Very Fine. Michel 1II var.
