Official "O.S." 1d on 3pf brown, variety "1" and "d" spaced (SG O1, O1a), Setting III, positions 7-8, being the right stamp in a pair with a normal, and surcharged 3d Rabaul No. 673 registration label (#33), tied by "Rabaul, New Britain/ Feb 22 1915" oval d.s. in violet on O.H.M.S. registered censored envelope to Laura, South Australia (11.3), via Sydney (8.3), and Adelaide (10.3), "Kaiserl. Deutsche Postagentur" paper seals in blue. Very Fine and an exceptional commercial usage. Michel D1 var.
