New Britain, 1915 (27 Feb.) Official "OS" 1d on 5pf green diagonal bisect (SG O2/ Gibbs O49c), the right hand stamp in a horizontal strip of three, tied by native Jaluit c.d.s. (7.4.24) and "Balham S.W.12" machine arrival d.s. (31.8.18) on 1918 (24 Apr.) censored envelope from the Japanese Postmaster in Jaluit to London, with Japanese Naval P.O. tax markings. Very Fine. Exceedingly rare, only a few such usages known, Illustrated in Gibbs, page 108.
