Hawaii, 1853, 5¢ blue, thick white paper (5), small corner crease, tied by red "Honolulu, Hawaiin Island, Nov 3" c.d.s. on cover to "Great Salt Lake City, Utah Territory", handstamped "SHIP 5" with clear December 1 San Francisco transit c.d.s. at left; stamp has been removed, to allow for restoration of the envelope, and replaced, Very Fine appearing and very rare.
