Oct 3" duplexed cork to a Lieutenant in the 6th Infantry at Fort Abraham Lincoln, Dakota Territory, crossed cannons corner card for the ordnance department in black; stamp with faults, cover with edgewear and a few tears, Fine, a rare Fort destination.

Fort Abraham Lincoln existed from 1872 to 1891, and was the fort where Custer was based at the time of the Little Big Horn massacre.
