1852, 3¢ dull red (11), irregular "c-shaped" block of eight with left sheet margin, cancelled manuscript "Berkshire Valley [N.J.], May 12" on orange 1856 cover to England, red handstamped "19" with red Liverpool and London c.d.s.s., May 24 and blue Wellingborough backstamp, May 25; right stamps extend beyond cover at right, Very Fine and most unusual. Carried on Cunard's Persia.
