1873, 7¢ orange vermilion and pair of 10¢ brown (160, 161), tied by cork cancels on 1876 cover from New Haven, Conn. to Wellington, Cape of Good Hope via New York, London and Cape Town, with all appropriate markings on front including scarce "New 1.10 York" integral rate c.d.s. and red manuscript "1", 10¢ pair has split arrow and bit of "captured" plate number in top margin, Very Fine and very scarce. 42 days in transit, April 11 - May 22, 27¢ rate by British packet via Southampton.
