1849-1904 Family correspondence, group of 13 covers (no content) from a prominent military family correspondence, William Montrose Graham (father and son), James Duncan Graham, and R.W> Meade Graham. Includes a 5¢ 1847, a 10¢ 1851 type II, two covers bearing two 12¢ 1851, four transatlantic stampless from the 1850's (one "Gibraltar Ship Letter") to Chicago, one Smyrna, Turkey to Chicago, others Sardinia to Florida, one forwarded to Brownsville, Texas. Also includes a 3¢ 1851 Chicago to Sardinia, 1881 Hawaii to San Francisco, 1899 Samoa to New York and 1904 England to Manila, P.I. In addition, there are about 20 picture postcards from the early 20th century, about half are mint featuring the American Fleet in Japan.
