Envelope, 1893, 10¢ Columbian (U351), entire to Holland, with additional 1¢ Columbian, cancelled New York Reg oval with magenta New York Station K registry postmark, Dec 20, 1893, the earliest documented use of this size and die, N.Y. exchange office registry label with manuscript "Printed" notation, backstamped Amsterdam; slight water stain at right, F.-V.F. The cover was sent unsealed at the 3¢ printed matter rate (plus 8¢ for registration) but the flap was sealed in transit covering one backstamp. UPSS 1180.
