1901 Peking to Tongku Official Business mail, four covers, War Department official business penalty envelopes from the U.S. Legation Guards addressed to the U.S. Postal Agent at Military Postal Station No.1, Tongku, China, each bearing four cents in Chinese postage (two with two 2¢ stamps, and two with one 4¢ stamp) cancelled by Peking bilingual oval, the 4¢ covers were roughly opened at right damaging the stamp, Fine to Very Fine group.
