Walsh, Hall et Cie in Yokohama, Japan, bearing 5¢ yellow brown (205), forwarded to Shanghai with large blue "Walsh, Hall & Co. / Yokohama, Japan / 28 May 1888" forwarder's oval, readdressed back to Yokohama and postmarked with Imperial Japanese Postal Agency c.d.s., forwarded finally to the Tokyo Hotel in Tokyo, various additional Japanese postmarks and receivers in both English and Japanese; minor edge wear, Fine, 5¢ U.P.U. rate effective Apr. 1, 1879.
