Cuba "Paid at Havana" crowned circle (A3), mostly clear strike on 1866 f1 to Mexico, red manuscript 1/- British rate, handstamped ½ after incorrect 2 was obliterated with a 0 placed sideways, postmarked Havana c.d.s., Sept 22, on reverse, blue merchant's handstamp at lower left, Very Fine. Letter is printed annual report of the firm Avendaño Hermanos. SG CC3 £750 ($960).
