1851, 1¢ blue, type II (7, 13), plate 2, horizontal pair, delicate shade, right stamp has double transfer in bottom label, with 10¢ green type I (13) horizontal pair, both with large margins on three sides, touched or just in on the other, tied by "San Francisco Cal./5 May" c.d.s. on blue linen envelope to Brooklyn, light partially legible "Honolulu/U.S. Postage Paid/April 8" origin c.d.s. in red, the 1¢ has small horizontal scissors cut in margin at lower right and 10¢ has slightly faulty top right corner well clear of design both of no consequence to this rare double rate franking (2 cents ship letter and 20 cents transcontinental).
