1861, 3¢ rose (65), block of 12 tied by manuscript cancels (and by German receivers) on reverse of 1866 cover to Germany, postmarked mostly illegible c.d.s. (appears to be Minneapolis), red "N. York Paid Hamb. Pkt, 24" exchange c.d.s. and small boxed FRANCO, backstamped 20 and 21 Jan; minor edge flaws, one stamp torn, Fine. A most unusual make-up of the 36¢ rate.
