Postal Card, 1873, 1¢ brown on buff, in original state and with "big hole" damage (UX1, UX1 var.), two mint cards, subject plate 45, sharp corners, excellent pair with the first card being quite rare as the "big hole" damage is believed to have occurred in the first week of production, also the second card is the most dramatic of the four damaged positions of the plate of 72, Extremely Fine.
