1893, 10¢ red brown, 5¢ ultramarine, overprinted (68, 59), each used on separate matching pre-printed "The Union National Bank Chicago, Ill." reply envelopes and cancelled by circular grids (M-H 22-7), believed to have been applied as a paquebot marking in San Francisc, 5¢ use with San Francisco (10.19.93) and Chicago (10.22) backstamps, blue crayon "25" in circle, small corner stain, 10¢ with San Francisco (9.28.93) backstamp and blue crayon "50" in circle, Very Fine, an interesting pair of covers showing the single and double rates to the United States, the ratings apparently expressed in centimes on the reverse of the covers.
