1856, 5¢ red brown, relief D (12), horizontal strip of four. Mostly clear to large margins to just touching design, rich color. New Orleans town cancels plus a portion of red transit postmark. Tiny tear in bottom margin of second stamp. Otherwise completely sound and Very Fine example of this rare multiple. Illustrated in Frajola and Mayer, p. 19, fig. 3-8.
