Jul 15" exchange office c.d.s., transferred to Boston for the Cunard Line steamer Canada, which departed on July 16 and arrived at Liverpool on July 26, red British "28 JY 1856" transit backstamp, "Etats-Unis. Paq. Brit. A. Calais 28 Juil. 56" French entry with manuscript "13" re-rated to "26" (décimes) due for double-weight, various manuscript ratings, Extremely Fine.
