Aug 12" exchange office c.d.s., transferred to Boston for the Cunard Line steamer Arabia, which departed on August 13 and arrived at Liverpool on August 25, red Liverpool "26 AU 1856" backstamp, "Etats-Unis. Paq. Brit. A. Calais 26 Aout 56" entry c.d.s. with matching "13" (décimes) due handstamp, reverse with indistinct Paris arrival c.d.s.; small cover tear and tiny marginal paper loss, 5¢ tiny crease, Very Fine.
