1856, 5¢ red brown (12), four margins including right sheet margin and center line at right, used with 10¢ green type II (14) margins at sides, top and bottom cut in, tied by "New York May 30" c.d.s. on blue folded letter with blue merchants oval, red "New York ‘Paid 3’ May 30" exchange office c.d.s., "Havre 11 Juin 57" entry c.d.s. with red boxed "PD" handstamp, reverse with Nantes arrival c.d.s.; Very Fine, the 15¢ treaty per ¼ ounce carried by American packet direct to Le Havre.
