Pkt. Apr 5" exchange office c.d.s., carried on the Havre Line steamer Fulton, which left New York on April 5 and arrived at Havre on April 19, red "Outre-Mer Le Harve 19 Avril 56" entry c.d.s. with "6" (décimes) due marking, French backstamps including "Limoges 24 Avril 56" arrival c.d.s., Extremely Fine, accepted 15¢ short payment of the 20¢ direct American packet rate, plus 6 décimes due for French inland postage.
