1856, 5¢ red brown, relief D (12), position 31L showing "Toppan Carpe(nter)" portion of imprint in the left sheet margin, huge margins all around including portion of adjoining stamp at right, exceptionally bright and fresh. Light town cancel c.d.s. Negligible faint corner crease at top right, entirely in margin. Still an Extremely Fine gem. Illustrated in Frajola and Mayer, p. 23, fig. 3-15.
