May 10 1857" c.d.s. on blue folded letter to Reims, France, red "New York 'Paid 12' May 19" exchange office c.d.s., French "Et. Unis Serv. Br. A. C. 1 Juin 57" entry c.d.s., reverse with French transits including "Reims 2 Juin 57" arrival c.d.s., Very Fine, the 15¢ treaty rate per ¼ ounce carried by British packet .
