Dec 2" exchange office c.d.s., red Liverpool backstamp, "Calais 16 Dec. 56" entry c.d.s. with "8" (décimes) due handstamp, various French transits on reverse including "Lyon 17 Dec 56", Very Fine, the 5¢ British open mail rate via British packet, France processed incorrectly as prepaid via American packet with 8 décimes due for postage from England to France.
