1868 (27 July) envelope from Wengrow, Poland to Suderburg near Uelzen, a "valuable letter" or "money letter" with bilingual boxed Wengrow postmark and boxed "Aus Polen", backstamped red Warsaw (27.7), Thorn Bahnhof (8.8) and Uelzen (9.8) with six intact wax seals, various manuscript rates; opened out for display, Very Fine. Contents indicated as "10 rubels silver". Russian postage of 23k included 10k each for internal and external postage plus 3k for insurance; "7" (Sgr.) due in Prussia included 2sgr for insurance.
