1896 (30 Nov.) parcel card to Annaberg (23.3) via Hamburg (22.3), bearing 2m brownish purple and Eagle 50pf lilac brown (Michel 37e, 50d), cancelled by "Windhoek" c.d.s., card has slight creasing, stamps Fine to Very Fine, franked at the 3m 50pf rate (introduced 12 September 1894) for a parcel weighing up to 5 kilograms sent via Hamburg, very few parcel cards are known from the forerunner period.
