1880 (Apr. 14) Chicago to Tokio, Japan, duplex c.d.s. tying 3¢ green (184), additional stamp apparently fell off in transit (light water stain at right), San Francisco circled "T" and "Due" with crayon "8" handstamps, additional "2 / 20" blue crayon, Japanese receiver, reverse with Japan 2s. two pairs tied by boxed cancellations, backstamped San Francisco and Yokohama, opened for display, reduced at right and small tear at bottom, Fine and rare mixed franking.
