1847, 5¢ dark brown (1a), ample margins to cut in, astonishing deep, near black color, razor sharp impression, tied by blue "Warren O. Dec. 15" c.d.s. on 1848 folded letter to Columbus, O.; stamp with tiny tear at bottom left, still a Fine usage, eye-catching shade of enormous rarity.
