1847, 5¢ red brown (1), large margins with portions of adjoining stamps on three sides, tied by red square grid and "New-York Sep. 23" c.d.s. in addition to manuscript "X", on small envelope to Elizabethtown, N.J. with U.S. Mail, New York, 1¢ black on yellow glazed (6LB10), large margins to touched at left, tied by pencil stroke, 5¢ with manuscript "Paid" underneath stamp; cover with stains and opening tear at right, 1¢ with small corner crease and 5¢ with crease in right margin, otherwise Fine, very scarce.
