1847, 5¢ red brown (1), horizontal pair, ample to large margins, just in at bottom, tied by two strikes of red "10" on 1851 folded letter to Carthage, Ill., blue "Baltimore Md. May 18" c.d.s., manuscript "Via Keokuk" in corner; left stamp with tiny tear, right stamp with vertical crease, Fine appearance.
