1847, 5¢ red brown (1), ample to large margins, late impression, tied by large bold pen squiggle and red "Auburn N.Y. Apr. 14" c.d.s. on small embossed lady's envelope to Rome, original 1851 enclosure headed "Willowbrook", cover opened at bottom, ink smears in postmark, Fine and eye catching.
